Museums Victoria

2023 - Current

Since 2023, I’ve had the privilege of bringing campaigns to life for Museums Victoria’s most iconic institutions, including Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, Scienceworks and the Dome Promenade.

I have contributed across a large variety of campaigns in roles ranging from campaign lead and motion graphics lead to rollout and finished artist. This involvement has allowed me to expand the creative direction of Museum Victoria’s campaigns and help push their advertising further into the motion graphics space. Below are select campaigns that showcase my work and involvement across campaign concept development, motion design and asset creation.

As campaign lead for Melbourne Museum’s 2025 blockbuster Lego Star Wars: The Exhibition, I developed the motion design style and led rollout across multiple platforms. The campaign was produced to connect with diverse audiences including families, children, franchise fans, and museum regulars, through a unified visual approach. Motion assets captured attention across social and OOH channels, while large-scale FOH signage and print ads reached more traditional audiences. A digital asset suite, including EDMs and display ads, boosted visibility and expanded reach into adjacent markets. A two-phase design strategy built anticipation, generated hype, and amplified the exhibition’s cultural appeal. This strategic rollout drove strong engagement and contributed to high ticket sales.

Playbound

For Museums Victoria’s yearly Playbound festival, I collaborated with the brand designer from the ideation phase to establish the visual tone and style in my role as lead motion designer. This ensured the design would translate effectively into motion and capture the campaign’s playful, educational spirit. In addition to print assets, greater emphasis was placed on web and social, connecting with a tech-savvy audience of children and parents. Following approval, I animated the key art and contributed to the subsequent rollout across digital and print platforms. The final creative execution attracted audiences to the diverse program of events, exhibitions, and workshops, while also elevating the visibility of the campaign’s education partners.

As primary graphic and motion designer for Melbourne Museum’s 2024 exhibition Victoria the T.rex, I was responsible for the creative rollout of existing branding for the Australian leg of the travelling exhibition. Working within the established identity and Melbourne Museum’s brand guidelines, I conceptualised and produced a wide range of animated and static assets across large-scale OOH, print, display suites, street furniture, social, CALD outputs, and FOH signage. This breadth of outputs helped engage museum enthusiasts, children and families. The cohesive roll-out sparked public curiosity and excitement around the rare and significant arrival of the fossil.

Tinkertown

I led motion design for Scienceworks’ 2025 exhibition Tinkertown, developing a bespoke announce video and supporting motion assets. I created the piece from initial storyboard through to a collaborative animation process, followed by post-production adaptations to different formats, ratios, and outputs. Working with the broader creative team, I also contributed to the campaign rollout, producing assets for OOH, web, social and CALD content. The final animation and the accompanying visuals captured the hands-on nature of the exhibition and clearly communicated its STEM-focused themes, sparking interest among children and families, supporting the exhibition’s educational mission.

I was motion design lead for Melbourne Museum’s 2024 Halloween at the Museum event, animating approved key art to bring the visuals to life and enhance the themes of spooky fun and festive celebration. The animated assets were used across digital channels to promote the event and engage audiences in the lead-up. The creative boosted online interaction and reinforced Melbourne Museum’s presence as an active cultural hub, broadening its appeal beyond traditional exhibitions and strengthening its connection to Melbourne’s contemporary event scene.
